- NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) intends to award a sole source fixed price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc.,for purchase of an 8 chamber alpha spectrometry system and accessories. The EPA is currently using Advanced Measurement Technology's OCTETE Plus 8 chamber systems, which are controlled by ORTEC's AlphaVision Software Package. As this software package is currently the only system in use by the EPA, any other type of alpha spectrometer would be incompatible with the current system. Advanced Measurement Technology is uniquely qualified to satisfy this requirement as it is the only source able to provide the spectrometry systems compatible with the current systems. REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS NOT AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
