- Description
- The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for mowing, cleaning and general operation and maintenance services for Beech Fork Lake, West Virginia. Approximate time will be calendar year 2009 with four additional one year option periods. The not-to-exceed amount of this contract is $675,000.00. The work consists essentially of mowing, cleaning and general operation and maintenance services in public use areas of the projects. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following factors (A) Experience (B) Past Performance; (C) Management Plan; (D) Equipment and (E) Price. Contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Type, competitively negotiated. Award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government all factors considered. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 7 November 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Beech Fork Lake, 5441 Beech Fork Road, Lavalette, West Virginia 25535. This solicitation will be available for download on or about 20 October 2008, online at www.fbo.gov. This proposed procurement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside.
