- DESCRIPTION Announcing: 2008 Service Disabled-Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Technology Conference. Dates: November 13-14, 2008 Location: 1904 Golf Course Ave, Suite# 1, MacDill AFB, FL 33621. ATTENTION: SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) OWNERS. We have found a unique opportunity for you to meet with buyers from Federal, State and local Government agencies, as well as large corporations. Making your business successful means branching out in search of Government Contract opportunities and Subcontracts from large corporations. Did you know that 99% of all employment in the U.S. today and nearly 50% of the Gross National Product are generated by Small Businesses? Those statistics are why MacDill AFB and its networking partners are bringing Local, Federal, and State Governmental agencies and major corporations together to network, educate, counsel and ultimately, contract, with SDVOSB firms. Exciting Topics: The 2008 SDVOSB Technology Conference opens November 13 and includes a day of informative and educational sessions. This year's seminar topics include Veteran-Owned Small Business Opportunities in Federal Contracting; SDV Lessons Learned from Current SDV Contractors; and Financial Programs and Support. From certifying your Small Business to making your product more marketable, we will help you arm your business with critical information ensuring greater success. Taking it to a Higher Level: On November 14, we will offer opportunities to develop and build strategic supplier relationships. Representatives from all layers of governmental agencies will be on hand to speak with attendees. Large corporations looking for qualified Small Businesses will also be available to speak about partnerships and business opportunities.
