Description
Target Range and Bullet Trap Maintenance, to include: inspecting, repriaing, operating, and performing preventative maintenance on Caswell range target equipment; restoring equipment to fully operational condition, replacing or repairing parts of equipment subject to normal wear and tear, and provdiing bullet trap maintenance at the ICE facility located in Alexandria, VA. Other tasks included in this requirement are: clean-up of the indoor firing ranges; chipping and removing leavd from the bullet traps and behind firing lines; removal and replacement of HVAC filters; removing bullets and lead debris from the bullet traps; cleaning range surfaces; and packaging or containerizing, handling, marking, labeling, loading, and transportation of lead waste from the target range. All surfaces and equipment located inside the firing ranges are considered contaminated by lead, therefore, work shall be performed in compliance with the applicable OSHA Standards pertaining to Occupational Lead Exposure and Controls. The contractor shall be able to establish and maintain a Hazardous Material Control Management (HMCM) Program for total life cycle control of all hazardous material and hazardous wastes located at the facility, and shall provide a competent person experieneced in the management of lead projects.
