- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) AtlanticCharleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal for the procurement ofCommercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Handheld Radios, Cellular Handsets andRadio Telephone Equipment. The subject procurement will be solicited as a 100% small business 8(a)competitive procurement. The Government intends to make multiple awards ofan Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price type contract.TheGovernment anticipates making no more than 5 awards. The period ofperformance will be a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. Theapplicable NAICS code for this effort will be 334220, with a size standard of750employees. THIS IS NOT A FOLLOW-ON. This is a new requirement and there are NOincumbent(s). NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TME. It is currenlty anticipated thatSolicitation N65236-08-R-0065 for this requirement and related documents willbe available on or about 16 December 2008. The solicitation and anysubsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available tointerested parties via the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central web site, located at:https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil. The solicitation will only beavailableelectronically at this web site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not beavailable. It is the responsibility of interested parties to independentlymonitorthe SPAWAR E-Commerce site for the release of the solicitation andamendments (if any), updates, and new listings. A bidder's mailing list willnotbe established.
