- Description: In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76, May 29, 2003, this notice represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a Standard Competition for the Facilities Maintenance, Custodial and transportation functions performed at the four DDESS locations at Fort Buchanan and Ramey School, PR. The incumbent service providers are 82 DoD civilians. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION; THEREFORE PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. A SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AT A LATER DATE. The Department of Defense Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Mr. Wayne Arny, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations and Environment). The DoD Component Competitive Sourcing Official (CCSO) for this announcement is Dr. Shirley A. Miles, Director, DoDEA. The date of this public announcement is the official start date for this competition and the projected end date of the competition is October 2010.
