Description
Rauland Nurse-Call System Maintenance/Repair for the Syracuse VAMC. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VISN2) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for preventive maintenance, repairs, and semi-annual testing of our Rauland Responder III, and Responder 4000 Nurse-Call systems for FY09, at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued, as this is the Request for Quotation to provide these services. This is an open competitive RFQ, with the applicable NAICS Code 811219. Statement of Work Scope: Perform semi-annual scheduled preventive maintenance and testing, as well as routine and on-call maintenance services-including all parts, for the Rauland (brand) Nurse-Call systems on approximately 45 wards and units of the Syracuse VAMC. The attached Statement of Work lists approximate quantities, configuration, and locations for these Nurse-Call systems. Testing, Repairs, Preventive Maintenance, Emergency calls and all parts will be provided and installed by the Contractor in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, and work standards included in the Statement of Work. Successful performance on this contract will require the Contractor to have access to Rauland (brand), and/or parts approved by the manufacturer for the duration of this contract. Interested bidders must have current business experience servicing/installing nurse-call systems, adequate trained staff, supervision, sufficient management capabilities, and financial resources to successfully perform on this contract.
