- Cincinnati VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Xavier University Leadership Center to purchase: Executive or Behavior Coaching (4 employees, 40 hours per employee plus 5 hours interviewing management and colleagues); Developing and Sustaining a Performance Culture (Leadership Bootcamp) and attend public program and classroom sessions are customized to VA 2 day program with 15 participants maximum; Exploring Dimensions of Leadership Program (2 day workshop); Process Excellence for Healthcare Organizations (3 day program), and the Process Excellence/Lean Facilitated Implementation Project (4 Lean Events with 2 days of training, 56 hours). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 611430. The Government believes that Xavier University Leadership Center is the only manufacture that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source procurement for the required supplies and or services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge, Xavier University Leadership Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, is the only source that provides the above indicated items and features. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within two (2) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Telephone and facsimile requests/inquiries will not be accepted. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. If electronic format is not available, then please send to Contracting Officer Joseph Boggs, Cincinnati VAMC, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH, 45220. Bids or responses are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on 29 September 2008. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Cincinnati VA Medical Center will precede with the sole source negotiation with Xavier University Leadership Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.
