- The Small Business Specialist at the 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill AFB, is seeking sources for CONFERENCE SUPPORT SERVICES at MacDill AFB, FL. In support of this effort the Small Business Specialist issues this Request for Information (RFI) to help determine the availability and technical capability of qualified companies capable of meeting the conference needs. The information collected is for planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is a Request for Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the requesting party to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor quotes. No award will be made as a result of this RFI. The conference organizers will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information. Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of conference organizer's evaluation of the information received. As a result of this Request for Information the conference organizer may issue a Request for Quote(s) (RFQ). However, should such requirements materialize, no basis for claims against the conference organizers shall arise as a result of a response to this Request for Information (e.g., use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement). All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business (e.g. large business, small business, service-disabled, HUBZone, 8(a), etc). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes are 532490 Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery, Equipment Rental and Leasing; 561439 for Other Business Service Centers (including Copy Shops); and 541890 Other Services Related to Advertising; all codes with a size standard $7.0 million.*****PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ONE OF THREE POSTINGS FOR THE DIFFERENT NAICS CODES NEEDED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT****** GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: - Audio Visual: Supply, lease and install in a conference ballroom approximately 135' wide by 54' deep, 5/50" - 60" flat screens and/or larger mountable screens, amplifier, and LCD projector (PowerPoint) turnkey operation for use of one day. Set up must be on Wednesday, 12 Nov 08 and teardown Thursday, 13 Nov 08. - Telecommunications: Supply, lease, and install a wireless speaker system in a conference ballroom approximately 135' wide by 54' deep. - Lanyards and plastic name tag covers with clips; assorted colors and quantities. - Printing services for approximately 350-500 copies of an 8-10 page conference program booklet. - Banners, size and quantities to be dertermined
