- This Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for a base plus (1) one-year option to provide hot meals for the Los Angeles Staging Area, 300 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 for anticipated start date of October 29, 2008. Contractor will prepare fresh packaged hot meals (7) days a week for an average of two hundred fifty (250) plus daily meals for delivery to the staging area. Quotation is solicited FOB Destination for delivery to the Los Angeles Staging Area. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 722310. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for small business. Closing date or response date for this synopsis/quotation HSCEDM-09-Q-00001 is October 10, 2008 at 5:00pm, Pacific Daylight Time. The distribution of this solicitation will be accomplished solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the solicitation will be accepted. The Fed BizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this procurement, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the site.
