- Description
- The contractor shall upgrade the Mk 98 Mod 4 Fire Control Simulation software IAW OD 36763 Revision 4 delivering a new simulation software capability that allows integrated operation with the SP205 Launcher Simulation software thereby providing a capability for the TTF to conduct SSBN MT crew re-certification training and tailored Operational Team Training. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
