- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91WAW-08-T-0173 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Contracting Center of Excellence, on behalf of the DoD Inspector General (DoD IG) entends to procure Forensic Computers (DCIS Special Edition). to include the following: Intel Pentium D Processor 940 3.2GHz (800MHz FSB, 2x2MB Cache, Dual Core), 4GB DDR2-667 Memory (1GBX4), 256MB PCI Express Video Card (Dual Head), 7 External USB 2.0 Ports (6 Backplane, 1 Front & 3 Internal), 2 FireWire 400 Ports (1Blackplane & 1 on Case Front), Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbits/sec) Lan, 4 Bay MidTower Case - Black Silver - One bay pre-wired for CRU Dataport V IDE Assembly, Anti-Static Padding on Top Surface, 550 Antec true Power 12V EPS Watt Power Supply, On-Board Fire Wire 800. Tablear T35i Forensic SATA/IDE Bridge Controller including SATA, IDE and Power Cables and CRU SATA to IDE Tray, DVD Burner (with NERO software), 250GB SATA II OS Drive (7200 rpm, 16MB cache)(Internal), 250GB SATA II Data Drive (7200 rpm, 16MB cache)(Internal), 1.44MB Floppy - Black Dual Boot - MS Windows XP (SP2)(OEM), MS Vista Ultimate 64-bit (OEM), MS Internet Keyboard and Optical Mouse, 1 Year Warranty. Delivery of Equipment will be by COB 30 Oct 2008 to the designated addresses in the RFQ. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (note: as of 1 January 2005, offerors are required to enter their representations and certifications on line at http://orca.bpn.gov); FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. Contract evaluation and subsequent award shall be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Proposal that demonstrates the ability to provide all items specified in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The (RFQ) can be obtained from the FedBizOps web page and the CCE Homepage at: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/rfp/rfp_1.asp, Titled: Forensic Computers (DCIS Special Edition). Responses to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail by 26 September 2008 no later than 4:00PM Eastern Time at the Contracting Center of Excellence, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200. Responses should be marked with the solicitation number and addressed to Gregory E. Young, Contract Specialist. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-800-334-3414 or register on line at http://www.CCR.gov No information, questions concerning this RFQ or request for clarifications will be provided in response to telephone calls. Formal communications such as requests for clarification, information or questions concerning this RFQ shall be submitted in writing, on corporate letterhead and email to: Gregory E.
