- Description
- The US Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Bell Aerospace Services, Inc., doing business as (DBA) US Helicopter (USH), subsidiary of Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., 668 Parker Drive, Ozark, AL 36361-1088. For this effort, the contractor will perform the engineering, technical, and logistics support necessary to overhaul and upgrade four (4) each, Excess Defense Article (EDA) UH-1 airframes to the UH-1H II Huey Two configuration (basic configuration) and the actions required to facilitate and sustain the initial operational capability of that aircraft in country. This effort is to include the upgrade from a basic configuration to one (1) aircraft in a Command and Control configuration and three (3) aircraft to a search and rescue configuration. The overhaul and upgrade effort shall be in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR) 55-1520-210 and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. This effort is for the Country of Columbia per Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case CO-B-UZO in support of the US Army Security Assistance Management Directorate, (SAMD) Aviation Division.
