- Description
- The Government intends to award a contract with a basic period of performance of one year with two option years. The contract shall provide all labor, supervision, and perform all operations necessary to provide facility support security services and trouble shooting informational technology services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) for this acquisition is 561210, size standard of $35.5 million and is set aside 100% for small business. An award will be made to the offeror who the Government determines can best satisfy the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP) in a manner most advantageous to the Government. This is a competitive, best value source selection in which competing offerors past performance history will be evaluated on a basis more important than cost or price considerations. Interested contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and with Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. in order to be considered for award. CCR can also be reached by calling 1-888-227-2423. The solicitation will be posted on or about 25 Sept 2008 and can be accessed at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the website for the release of the solicitation package and updated information. The government will not provide copies of the solicitation, blueprints, specifications or a plan holder’s list. This notice does not obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
