- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing maintenance service to one of each of the following equipment:S/N 851187 LSM 510 UV/META w/one microscope;S/N 2101000205 LSM 510 UV/META w/one microscope;S/N 2401000168 LSM 5 Live Vano Two VRGB;S/N 851382 LSM 510 NLO/META w/one microscope NDD ICH;S/N 2102000263 LSM 510 UV/META w/one microscope;S/N 850613 LSM 510 UV w/one microscope;S/N 851035 LSM 510 VIS with Confocor;S/N 851328 LSM 510 NLO/META w/one microscope NDD 2CH;S/N 2102000244 LSM 510 UV/META w/one microscope;S/N 851168 LSM 510 VIS/META w/one microscope;S/N 2439000135 LSM 510 UV (405);S/N 2452000104 LSM 5 PASCAL UGB/Exciter;S/N R2M1520702 Radiance 2100 AG-2Q (MP Removed 12/2005);S/N 2433000118 LSM 510 NLO w/one microscope;S/N R2K01130699 Radiance 2000 KR-3 MP; Interested firms with the capability of providing the required equipment are requested to submit a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b) whether or not this procurement will be set-aside for any of the programs described above. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 811219 with a size standard of $7.0 All respondents are requested to identify their firms size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Governments requirements for the above. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 10 pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the requirements above. Your capability statement, should include references. Two (2) copies of the capability statement must be received at the address identified in this synopsis by no later than close of business (5:00p.m EST) on October 3, 2008 to the attention of Patricia Haun. Responses by fax or e-mail WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
