- Amendment 1: Cancellation of this announcement. Please see attached form for details. The Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton OH, 45428-9000, intends to sole source the installation of the Horcher C-2 Patient Ceiling Lifting System to Horcher Lifting Systems, 342 Cypress Road, Ocala, FL, 34472-3102. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, Small Business Size Standard is $14 million. This announcement of the intent to sole source is NOT a request for proposals, quotes, or bids. No formal solicitation document will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice via email to the POC. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely in the discretion of the Government. All responses must be emailed to Aprile.Horne@med.va.gov, by COB, September 25, 2008 at 4:00 PM ET. If no responses are received by this date, a sole source, fixed price contract with Horcher Lifting Systems, Inc. may be awarded dependent upon availability of funding.
