Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the Repair of Graphic Control Circuit Card Assemblies, NSN 5998-01-461-6349, Synergy P/N CUS/VGM1/S420EBPUVXRX or P/N CUS-A99-3-3701. FOB Destination to USCG ELC, Baltimore, MD is desired. These parts make up various configurations of the basic AN/SPS-73 Surface Search Radar for shipboard navigation support currently installed on U.S. Coast Guard cutters and boats. It is the Government?s intention to solicit and negotiate solely with Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing, Inc. (previously Synergy Microsystems, Inc) as they are the only source for this equipment that has the required capabilities, embedded firmware, and systems to operate, maintain, and repair these circuit card assemblies. The Coast Guard does not possess the data rights to the specification, drawings, equipment mock ups, test fixtures, testing, environmental controls, quality assurance and documentation necessary perform the repairs. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), therefore; no cost or pricing information shall be submitted at this time. Interested sources that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capability to accomplish the repairs and provide evidence as an authorized repair facility; including evidence of component level and repair procedures, equipment mock up(s), test fixtures and satisfactorily performed repairs for this equipment for the government or the prime equipment manufacturer. This information is due within 15 days from the date of this announcement. It is the Coast Guard ELC?s intention to advertise a solicitation for requirements within 45 days of this Sources Sought notice. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor this system for future notices and changes. All responses will be considered by this agency.
