- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/ solicitation number is W74MYH82270753. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27, Effective 17 Sep 2008 and DCN 20080915. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516. This requirement is Unrestricted. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract, Brand Name Only. Description of Requirement: Cell Lab Quanta SC Flow Cytometer, Multi Plate Loader, 21 CFR Part 11 Software. Two Operating and Maintenance Manuals Salient Characteristics are: Bench-top flow cytometer uniquely capable of sizing and counting a wide variety of cell types. Easy to use software and protocol templates requiring minimal operator training and infinite flexibility. Calibrated syringe drive for accurate absolute counts, multi-color excitation using a Mercury Arc light source for optimized excitation at 366, 404, 435 nm and laster excitation using adjustable 2-22m W 488 nm laser diode. The system comes equipped with three ultra-sensitive PMT detectors with linear and log amps for high sensitivity and extended dynamic range. In addition, comes equipped with a photodiode and volume detector for side scatter and coulter volume measurement. The side scatter detector can be used in linear and log mode and the volume detector can be used in linear mode. The system can be used for applications such as apoptosis, viability, counting, cell cycle, and basic immunophenotyping. Delivery by 30 November 2008.
