- Description
- The Government intends to issue an unrestricted procurement for Propellant Pressurizing Agent, Helium, NSN 9135-00-142-9362, Type II, IAW MIL-PRF-27407C, Dated Nov 2006., estimated quantity 130,900 liters. Delivery of the helium shall be in contractor-owned DEWARS (30 liter, 60 liter, 100 liter, 250 liter and 500 liter). Delivery is FOB destination to 23 locations throughout the United States. All offeror(s) will be able to propose on some or all locations requiring delivery of liquid helium. The contractor shall provide all production, raw materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for the delivery of liquid helium. The intended use of the liquid helium is as a coolant in specialized test and measurement equipment. The government intends to award one or more one-year firm-fixed price requirements-contract with a period of performance from 1 Dec 08 through 30 Nov 09. The subject solicitation will be issued on 22 Sept 08 to the FedBizOpps page at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you do not have internet access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed copies received directly from the requester will be acceptable.
