- Description
- The work consists of removing and disposing of four existing 15-kV metal-clad, air-blast circuit breakers, furnishing and installing four 15-kV metal-clad vacuum circuit breakers, furnishing one spare 15-kV metal-clad vacuum circuit breaker, furnishing and installing instrument potential transformers, and modifying existing switchgear cubicles to accommodate new circuit breakers and transformers. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for December 2, 2008 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The solicitation packages are scheduled to be available on or around October 17, 2008. All work must be completed within 475 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $1.0 Million to $5.0 Million. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237130. The small business size standard is $33.5 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. This specifications and drawings will be not posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All representations and certifications which used to appear in Section K of Bureau of Reclamation Solicitations are now online.
