- Description
- The contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for road repair on the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. This project involves the reconstruction of 400 linear feet of road shoulder and embankment on Lovell Canyon Road (FSR 45537), milepost 0.7. The repair work includes the placing of boulders at the toe of the embankment prior to placing and compacting imported fill. The borrow site for the fill material is located approximately 6 miles from the construction site. Boulders will have to be imported to the work site from a commercial source. Material at the borrow site will require screening before placing in the embankment. Relocation of nine (9) Jersey Barriers to a Forest Service site along State Route 157, 17 miles from the US 95 junction, will also be required. Estimated Range $25,000 to $100,000.
