- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3458191A014; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, Defense DCN 20080812, and AFAC 2008-0605. This acquisition will be 100% total small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333414. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 4520. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3433. This request for quotation consists of fabrication and installation of a solar pool heating system. CLIN 0001: 1 EA, Non-personal services. Contractor to supply all tools, labor, materials, and transportation. Install solar heating system capable of heating pool to 78-82 degrees. Installation to include structure to support solar panels. The pool holds approximately 225,000 gallons of water. Install solar system with the capability of using either the existing gas furnace or solar to heat the pool. This work is to be performed at the base swimming pool. A site visit will be held on Thursday, 11 September, 2008 at 9:00 am at Travis AFB. Please contact SrA Joseph Hoh at (707) 424-7773 or joseph.hoh@travis.af.mil to be included in the site visit. Please ensure you bring a current license, current registration, and current insurance in order to gain access to the base. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none.
