- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION to supply four manufactured welded steel parts forming a runner support system as per technical specs and drawings for McNary Lock and Dam 82925 Devore Road Umatilla, OR 97882. SOL: W912EF-08-Q-0128 ISSUE DATE : 09/23/2008 DUE: 10/13/2008 at 02:00pm Walla Walla Pacific time COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS FOR furnishing all material and labor to weld, perform metal fabrication, machining and painting as needed to fabricate a new runner support for McNary Powerhouse. The technical specifications and drawings must be requested through email to Clarence.a.miller@usace.army.mil. The four sections of the runner support shall be placed on pallets and protected from the weather by wrapping in plastic or crated separately for shipment to the project at McNary Lock and Dam, Umatilla, OR. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation. No formal solicitation will be issued. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR Circular 2005-26 effective 12 June 08. Please provide price drawings and specifications will be emailed upon request to Clarence.a.miller@usace.army.mil. ADMIN INFO: Solicitation is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332111 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors can access the CCR for free at http://www.ccr.gov. This is a request for quote under Part 12 of the FAR (commercial items.)
