Description

Texas requires water based CARC paint for use in our 3K Cylomix Expert CARC Unit at our N. Ft Hood MATES location. The products supplied must be equivalent to current coatings calibrated for the paint metering/mixing equipment. The standard for the color components must meet Water Borne CARC Type 2 (MILSPEC 64159). The supplier must also be able to provide onsite technical assistance, when necessary, to ensure proper operation in the equipment with personnel trained in the maintenance and use of the above equipment. In addition, the following salient evaluation criteria with be used to evaluate the proposals: 1) Lead-time to delivery, 2) Past performance with this type coating, 3) Unit servicing capability, and 4) Price.
