- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Motorola, Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, 3rd Floor, Columbia, MD 21046-2583 for emergency repair and an annual preventive maintenance inspection on the Motorola Two-Way Communication Infrastructure Systems located at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Dublin, GA. The Period of Performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 plus 4 Option Years for renewal. The North American Industry Classification Code System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811213 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.0 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents will be issued. Firms that believe they can meet the VAs requirement must submit a proving proposal within 3 days after publication of this synopsis to the Contracting Officer or by fax 478-274-5609. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
