- DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: The dimension of the closed kit shall be no larger than 8"L x 8"H x 3"W and weigh no more than 2 lbs. The kit shall be available in black and desert/coyote ("brown") and shall unzip and open flat (180 degress). All items shall be accessible and retrievable from the bag with one hand. The contents shall include at least: a Bag which can be MOLLE System compatible or worn on the thigh with a removable belt strap and leg strap; 2 pair nitrile gloves; 2 28g Nasopharyngeal airways with lubricant; 2 Petroleum Gauze; 1 Bolin Chest Seal; 1 Combat Applied Tourniquet (Combat Application (CAT)); 1 Emergency Trauma Dressing 6”; 1 S rolled gauze 4.5" x 4.1 yd, vacuum sealed; 1 Quick Clot Combat Gauze; 1 Quick Clot ACS+; 1 roll of 2” tape (gecko grip or equivalent). Special Features: 500 Denier Cordura nylon; sand resistant Zippers and silent zipper pulls and all internal seams shall be completely bound and lock-stitched for durability. The individual first aid kit bag shall have no external pockets. The zipper of the bag shall be sand and water resistant.
