- The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) intends to issue a purchase order to Vero Capital Management for support services related to risk assessment and valuation of mortgage-related assets for a one (1) year period. Vero Capital Management will provide their proprietary model used to assess the characteristics and risks of structured mortgage products as well as services related to risk assessment and valuation of mortgage related assets. This proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. However, all quotations must be received with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirement no later than 4:00 PM EST on 9/23/2008 to be considered by the Government. Such information, if submitted, should be forwarded to OTS by email at: Illona.Williams@ots.treas.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. T his notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. If this procurement is competed, no additional synopsis will be published and a request for quotation will only be forwarded to the intended vendor and firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
