- DESCRIPTION: The RI Air National Guard intends to award a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with InControl Inc., 22 Dewey Avenue, Suite 4, Warwick, RI 02886, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2005-26. Only one responsible source is known for this procurement. It is for the procurement and installation of Andover Direct Digital Control (DDC) Components to connect to existing on base Andover DDC Control Systems. The procurement is to install various controllers, sensors and other support hardware to provide environmental control for a 7300 square foot facility. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is notice of intent to award sole source under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Note - No award will be issued from responses to this notice. Response to this notice does not legally bind the government in any manner. Your concerns will be considered if you respond to this posting with a similar product/service. All proposals received by 1:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, September 26, 2008, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
