Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W473956Y is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) pursuant to FAR Part 12 and Part 13. It is anticipated that one firm-fixed-price contract will result from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This is a Total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 333120 and the small business size standard is 750 employees or less. CLIN 0001, Bush Hog Rotary Cutter, 15" cutting width, Model 2715L; must be compatible with 5525 John Deere Tractor. Delivery Date: within 30 days of contract award. Delivery and acceptance address: 2000 Carnes Rd, Brooklyn, MS 29425. FOB Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. For products other than the name brand identified, the offeror shall specifically identify the specifications which meet the salient characteristics for the product and CLIN; offerors are advised that failure to identify the specifications which meet the salient characteristics may result in the apparently successful offeror being considered nonresponsive and ineligible for award. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items does not apply. The Government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quotation is technically acceptable with the lowest evaluated price. A quotation is considered technically acceptable when the proposed product is the name brand item or technically equal. Offerors shall submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its quotation. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
