This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFQ R6-18-08-208622 is issued as a request for quotations and incorporates provisions and clauses that is in effect through FAC 2005-27. This solicitation is a small business set-aside under NAICS 336212. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will issue an order as a result of this Request for Quotations to the responsible quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors considered. The Government may reject any or all quotes, issue orders to other than the lowest quote, and waive minor informalities or irregularities in quotes received. If necessary, the Government may conduct discussions with any or all quoters. Quantity: 1 EA; ITEM DESCRIPTION - The Willamette National Forest requires a heavy duty equipment trailer meeting the following specifications: Required Specifications: Capacity: 50,000 lbs. Axles: 3 - 20,000 lb axles ( 20,000-25,000 lb axles is the range)--(Triple dual axles) Tires: 215/75Rx17.5 Width: 8'6" 10 "D"- ring tiedowns Hitch: Pintle Eye hitch with safety chains Wheels: Hub Pilot Brakes: Full Air ABS 4S2M, or 2S2M Tongue Jack, or landing gear (12,000-60,000 lb. capacity) Spring Suspension Optional Specifications : (Desired if possible—please submit as a separate quote if these specifications will increase the cost of the trailer meeting the required specifications above) Color- white, grey, or black Tiltbed Deck ( Industrial Tag would be next option) Stationary deck with tiltbed.
