- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W453282Y is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) pursuant to FAR Part 12 and Part 13. It is anticipated that one or more firm-fixed-price contracts will result from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This is a Total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 212312 and the small business size standard is 500 employees or less. CLIN 0001 (W453282Y), 610 limestone, small size, road base qty 700 tons; Delivery address: 661 Selfield Rd, Selma, AL 36703; Delivery within 14 days of receipt of order. CLIN 0002 (W453297Y), 610 limestone, small size, road base, qty 100 tons; Delivery address: 86 Grady Brown Rd, Lumberton, MS 39455; Delivery within 14 days of receipt of order. CLIN 0003 (W453297Y), 610 limestone, small size, road base, qty 100 tons; Delivery address: 335 Hickory Grove Rd, Lumberton, MS 39455; Delivery within 14 days of receipt of order. CLIN 0004 (W473960Y). 610 limestone, small size, road base, qty 900 tons; Delivery address: 2695 North Sherwood Forest Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70814; Delivery within 14 days of receipt of order. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items does not apply. The Government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quotation is technically acceptable with the lowest evaluated price. A quotation is considered technically acceptable when the proposed product meets the specifications and delivery instructions.
