Measure and record individual on line unit/cell and total string float voltage using a calibrated digital volt meter with two (2) decimal place capability. 2. Measure and record individual unit/cell and total string AC ripple voltage. 3. Measure and record AC ripple current. 4. Measure and record battery jar and ambient room temperature. 5. Record the follwong UPS readings. a. ADC output voltage and current. b. AC input voltage and current c. DC Float voltage and current. 6. Perform visual inspection of the following. a. Cell post, inter-cell/unit connectors, cables and associated hardware. b. Cell covers, jars, post seals, jar/cover, seals, pressure release valve. c. Battery racks/cabinets, associated components and hardware. 7. Clean all cells, racks/cabinets and provide corrosion control where necessary. 8. Inspect battery room for all safety requirements as per 1EEE Std 450-1995 and OSHA regulations. 9. Provide Inspection report consisting of all data record during the inspection. a. Recommendations and observations. b. Maintenance repair costs. BBC1224-AMR SCOPE OF WORK Quarterly 1. Measure and record individual on line unit/cell and total string float voltages using a calibrated digital volt meter with a two (2) decimal place cablility. 2. Perform discharge test on each individual unit/cell and record recovery voltage. 3. Measure and record contact resistance on all bolted battery connections using a calibrated digital low resistance ohmmeter. Verify that all connections are within 20% of the average optimum resistance determined for that particular connection group. Rehabilitate all connections as required by the above test. 4. Measure and record total string AC ripple voltage and current. 5. Measure and record battery jar and ambient room temperature. 6. Record the following UPS readings. a. AC ouput voltage and current. b. AC input voltage and current. c. DC flot voltage and current. 7. Perform visual inspection of the following: a. Cell post, inter-cell/unit connectors, cables and associated hardware. b. Cell covers, jars, post seals, jar/cover seals, pressure release valve. c. Battery racks/cabinets, associated components and hardware. 8. Mechanical Inspection: a. Spot check torque on all battery rack frames and cross braces. b. Verify that all bolted connections are torqued to the appropriate maintenance torque values as per the manufacturer specifications. c. Clean all accessible cell surfaces. 9. Inspect battery room for all safety requirements as per Battery Room and Accessory Performance SpecificationTS-006. 10. Provide Inspection report consisting of all data recorded during the inspection. a. Recommendations and observations. b. Maintenance repair costs. ITEM 2 - PROVIDE LOAD TEST AND INSPECTION ON THE BATTERIES THAT SUPPORT THE 150 KVA BALANCED POWER UPS SYSTEM 1.Measure and record individual on line unit/cell and total string float voltage. 2.Measure and record individual internal unit/cell impedance using an AVOE-Bite 2 Battery imedance meter. 3.Perform load test on each Individual unit/cell and record final voltage. 4.Measure and record contact resistance on all bolted battery connections. Verify that all connections are within 1EEE 1186 Standards. 5.Measure and record sting AC ripple voltage and current. 6.Measure and record battery jar and ambient room temperature. 7.Record the following UPS readings. a. AC output voltage and current b. AC input voltage and current c. DC float voltage and current 8. Perform visual inspection of the following: a. Cell post, inter-cell/unit connectors, cables and associated hardware. b. Cell covers, jars, post seals, jar/cover seals, pressure release valve. c. Battery racks/cabinets, associated components and hardware. 9. Mechanical Inspection: a. Spot check torque on battery shelf frames. b. STATIONARY POWER DIVISION FLOODED-VENTED ANNUAL MAINTENANCE ROUTINE BP1201 SCOPE OF WORK: 1.Measure and record the following: a.Individual cell float voltage and total string float voltage. b.Positive and negative to ground. c.Electrolyte specific gravity (corrected to 77 degrees) of each individual cell. d.Electrolyte temperature (no less than one measurement per tier). e.Ambient room temperature. f.Contact resistance on all bolted battery connections using a digital low resistance ohm meter. Verify that all connections are within 20% of the previously established baseline value determined for that particular connection group. g.Total string AC ripple voltage and current. 2.Record the following UPS readings. a. AC output voltage and current. b. AC input voltage and current. c. DC float voltage and current. 3. Perform visual inspection of the following: a. Cell post, inter-cell/unit connectors, cables and associated hardware. b. Cell covers, jars, post seals, jar/cover seals, flame arrestors, gravity sample tubes. c. Battery racks, associated components and hardware. d. Sediment levels, cell plates. e. Cell electrolyte level (add water if required). 4. Mechanical Inspection: a. STATIONARY POWER DIVISION RECTIFIER MAINTENANCE SEMI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE ROUTINE BP1225 SCOPE OF WORK: For each rectifier module in a multi-module system, shut down each module one at a time and perform the following procedures. For the single module rectifier system, shut down only if user permission exists and battery discharge time and conditions are favorable. Rectifier make C & D; Model # ARE130AC6F 1.Prior to taking the rectifier module off-line, record on-line Input and Output voltages and currents. 2.Perform a complete mechanical inspection of the rectifier and it's sub-assemblies, checking the torque of all connections. 3.Perform a continuity test of power semiconductors, fuses and capacitors, replacing any defective or suspect components. 4.Inspect all air filters, replace as required, and thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of the rectifier module and it's sub-assemblies. 5.Verify the operation of indicators and control switches. 6.Calibrate rectifier module no-load operational and protective settings per manufacturers specifications. 7.Record off-line Input and Output voltages and currents. 8.Verify all logic level and power waveforms at no-load and connected load. 9.Provide a written report detailing all procedures performed and list all discrepancies found.
