- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Mallinckrodt, Inc. for one each physiological recording amplifier (sleep study equipment) Nellcor PB Model Sandman Elite and accessories located at VAMC Dayton, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton OH 45428. Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition will be used. The anticipated award date is 22 Sep 08. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by 3:00 p.m., EST., 22 Sep 08.
