- The Department of Defense is looking for manufacturers/distributors of certain textiles and fabrics who can demonstrate compliance of the Berry Amendment provision of DFARS 252.225-7012. To be compliant with this provision, all materials used to fabricate the items must be grown, produced, and processed in the United States. The list of textiles and/or fabrics is as follows: Modacrylic FibersPara-Amaid FibersMeta-Aramid Fibers The manufacturer or distributors must be willing to demonstrate that items sold to DoD Prime Contractors are compliant with Berry Amendment provision of DFARS 252.225-7012 as stated in current DoD policy guidance.
