- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, # F1R34B8224A001, is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside, the NAICS Code is 326199 with a small business standard of 500 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: 334 units of Fixed Wall Pallet Containers and 334 units of Proper Lids for the Pallet Containers. Detailed description includes the following information: Outside dimensions in inches: 47.9L x 43.8W x 29.3H. Total Load Capacity: 1200 pounds. Internal Volume 25.9 cubic feet. Fork Openings: height: 3.1” on the 48” side, 4.1” on the 44” side, width: 11.8” on the 48” side, and 11.5 on the 44” side. Made of structural foam, HDPE plastic. Stackable, beveled fork straps, smooth reinforced corners. 3 year warranty. Delivery time should not exceed 60 days. Specifications derived from Melmat’s Magnum fixed Wall Container PC484429. FOB: Destination to Dyess AFB, Texas. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded based on price alone. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial items, offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items.
