- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division is acquiring on a sole source basis PN 120742 Contac RS Plating System (1) each; PN 106920 1 year set of plating consumables (1 ) each; PN 010312 ProtoPlace Semi-Auto Pick and Place (1) each; PN 010315 Motorized Turntable (1) each; PN 010094 Feeder-Carrier for up to 13 Feeders (1) each; PN 010225 Stick Feeder SO8-SO28, SO8L-SO28L (1 each); PN 10236 MultiPress S Automatic Lamination Press (1) each; PN 119612 Multi Layer Kit (1) each in support of the Asymmetric Defense Systems Department, Measured Response Options Division, Asymmetric Operations Technology Branch, Dahlgren, Virginia. These are the only small scale circuit board equipment for in-house prototyping that will meet the circuit board size and detail requirements of the department and is being sole sourced to LPKF Laser and Electronics, 12555 S W Leveton Drive, Tualatin, OR 97062-6073. The LPKF ProtoPlace is the only small scale pick and place machine tha! t is semi-automatic. The Multipress S was the only benchtop circuit board press that met the board size requirements and the Contac RS was the only small scale electroplating device that met both the size and HAZMAT requirements. The Request For Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-08-Q-3045. The required delivery is 30 days after receipt of order. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The NAICS Code is 423830 and the FSC Code is 3470. Pricing will be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Receiving Officer, 6220 Tisdale Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 24 September 2008, 9:00 AM local time. Anticipated award date is! 25 September 2008.
