- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41811-0203-9 for the provision of providing Ultrasound Services to the inmate population of the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Terre Haute, Indiana. The Contractor will provide specialty medical services in the area of Ultrasound, Echocardiogram, EEG, and IVP to the inmates at the FCC. The Contractor shall provide board certified candidates in their field of expertise. It is estimated that the yearly requirements are as follows: General Ultrasound 600 each, Vascular Ultrasound 50 each, Echocardigraphy 40 each, and EEG 40 each. The Contractor provided candidates shall possess valid, current license and certification to practice within the State of Indiana. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about September 23, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is October 23, 2008. The solicitation will be a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 621512 with a size standard of $13,500,000. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
