- Security, Safety and Law Enforcement (SSLE), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Department of the Interior, has a need for vehicle barrier systems at designated facilities throughout Reclamation sites in the 17 western United States to prevent unauthorized vehicular access. Barrier systems shall be US Department of State certified barrier systems. The anticipated work shall include but is not limited to design, procurement, installation and testing of complete and usable active and passive vehicle barrier systems, which shall be performed by one contractor by delivery order(s) under award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) construction contract. It is anticipated the proposed contract will be for a base and four (4) possible option years. This requirement shall be solicited as a firm fixed price Request for Proposal (RFP) under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. NAICS 238990 (All other specialty trade contractors), size standard $14.0 million. Estimated price range per delivery order is $250,000 to $500,000. It is estimated the solicitation package will be available approximately October 10, 2008. A responsible source shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov/) in order to be awarded a contract with the federal government, and shall be registered at the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) through the Central Contractor Registration database listed above. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
