- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ V2185382608D99. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase PRC Decking, specs below:PRC-COSMETIC POLYMERIC TYPE II: REMOVE EXISTING DECK COVERING MATERIAL. FURNISH LABOR AND MATERIAL TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW COSMETIC POLYMERIC TYPE II (MONOLITHIC SEAMLESS) PRC DECK COVERING THROUGHOUT THE COMPARTMENTS LISTED BELOW. DECK COVERING IS TO BE IAW MIL-SPEC MIL-D-24613, TYPE II. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL IAW MFG'S INSTRUCTIONS. CONTRACTOR IS TO ENSURE THAT METAL DECKS HAVE PROPER UNDERLAY MAT'L APPLIED AS SPECIFIED BY GEN SPEC SEC 631. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL IAW MFG'S INSTRUCTIONS. CONTRACATOR SHALL INSTALL TO A THICKNESS NOT TO EXCEED 1/4" COVE BASE EFFECT SHALL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SHIP'S REPRESENTATIVE AND THE COVE BASE EFFECT SHALL EXTEND VERTICALLY FOR APPROX 3" UP ONTO THE SPECIFIED COMPARTMENT BULKHEADS.
