- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Vets and is solicited under NAICS 238910. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $14.0 Million. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. Description of Requirement: Services to be performed under this contract provide for the light bulldozing (clearing) and/or excavating (piling) of logging slash for forest regeneration on John H. Kerr Reservoir in Boydton Virginia. This Request for Quotes incorporates the following provisions: •FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial •FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items •FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items ---- Offerors must include a completed copy of 52.212-3 in their offer. This Request for Quotes incorporates the following clauses: •FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items •FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items Other provisions and clauses included are in the attached specifications. Full text may be accessed through the attached documents or through http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the web site for registration is http://www.ccr.gov. Proposals are due no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Time, September 25, 2008. You are encouraged to submit quotes electronically. They may also be faxed to the attention of the Contract Officer, John Mayo at 910.251.4884. The completed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3) must be submitted along with each proposal.
