- Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12.203 to BNSF Railway Company to procure and install Constant Warning and (2) Cantilevers with (2) stub gates at the existing crossing across Old Glory Road on F.E. Warren AFB, WY on BNSF owned right of way. The period of performance is 1 year from date of the award. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), the Government will negotiate directly with BNSF Railway Company. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.320. A determination not to compete the requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 with a size standard of $7,000,000. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to 90 CONS/LGCA, Attn: Mr. Jack M. Patton, 7505 Barnes Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 or sent via email to jack.patton@warren.af.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted within five (5) days after this posting. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government on future procurement. Response to this synopsis in not required.
