- The National Gallery of Art is soliciting proposals for the maintenance, repair, and testing services for the select high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP), No. NGA-RFP-08-96. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation service contract items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 37.1 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. NAICS code 238210 is associated with this work, which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. Refer to the solicitation documentation, including Statement of Work (SOW) and Specifications attached to this posting for detailed information about this project. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for September 24, 2008 at 10:00am. All vendors interesting in satisfying this requirement for the Gallery must attend the site visit and shall meet Gallery personnel at: National Gallery of Art, West Building Service Entrance (on the East side of the building), 6th Street and Constitution Ave., Washington, DC 20565 at the date and time specified above. The solicitation documentation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. FAR provision 52.237-1, Evaluation Factors applicable to this acquisition. In addition to Price, the following Technical Factors will be used in evaluating quotes: (A) Project Organization (B) Offeror Past Performance Organization, (C) Offeror Work Experience (D) Understanding the Requirements (E) Pricing (F) Financial Statements (H) Section K. Technical Factors will be weighted more heavily than Price. Offerors must submit a Firm-Fixed Price. All vendors submitting proposals in response to this RFP must include accurate contact information for three (3) references that can provide the Gallery with a relevant and accurate description and evaluation of the vendor's past performance in providing similar services to those described in this RFP. The services provided for each reference must have been provided by the vendor within the past 3 years and the services provided for each reference must be similar to the work described in the Statement of Work. All vendors who submit a proposal must include responses to the Certifications and Representations contained in Section K of the attached solicitation documentation. By submitting a proposal in response to this RFP, the vendor warrants that any goods or services provided to the Gallery in satisfaction of this requirement are fit for the ordinary purposes for which they were designed, as well as the particular purpose(s) specified in the this solicitation, and any additional purposes as represented by the vendor. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by mail, currier service, or in-hand, which shall be considered by the Gallery.
