- This is a competitive acquisition using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation criteria. The subject acquisition is for an IDS upgrade and preventive maintenance at Beale Air Force Base, California. Proposal evaluation will be conducted using the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department Of Defense (DOD) FAR Supplements and Air Force FAR Supplements. Contract Award will be made to the Offeror who is deemed responsible, whose proposal conforms to the Request For Proposals requirements and is judged to represent the Best Value to the Government. Specific requirements are specified within in the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated for this acquisition. This solicitation (Solicitation No. FA4686-08-R-0044) is not set aside for small business concerns. The Small Business Size Standard for this solicitation is $11.5 million. All responsive Offerors shall be considered by the agency. If there is an after hour Point of Contact, please include such Point of Contact and applicable contact information in the Proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621. All firms or individuals responding to subject solicitation must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Furthermore, CCR Registration is mandatory to be eligible for contract award. Registration may be accomplished by visiting the website http://www.ccr.gov. Paper copies will not be available. It is incumbent upon all Interested Parties to review this notification thoroughly along with any and all subject documents; and to check this website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) frequently for any updates, amendments and/or modifications to any and all documents regarding subject solicitation. It shall be noted to all Interested Parties that the anticipated contract award is 25 September 2008 with a solid contract start date of 30 September 2008 to allow for mobilization.
