- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure the following items from the 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE: one hundred (100) KSV-21 Enhanced Crypto Cards (ECCs) at the price of $300.00 each. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the proceeding products to Mykotronx, at 359 Van Ness Way Torrance, CA 90501-1488. Note: This firm is the sole provider of these ECCs. The proposed contract action is for items which the Govt intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. Delivery: 1 Jan 09. All responses received within four (4) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Govt. A determination by the Govt not to compete this proposed delivery order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Govt. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
