- Description: The Government has an immediate need for manifested infectious medical waste and sharps disposal through incineration to include all necessary personnel, materials, tools and labor for. The term of the contract shall be from the period/date of award through September 30, 2009 with a Government option to extend the term of the contract for (4) additional one-year periods for the VA Medical Center, 200 Veterans Ave., Beckley, west Virginia 25801. This Acquisition shall be procured and awarded using unrestricted procedures. The applicable NAIC is 562112 /Hazardous Waste Collection / $11.5Mil. Solicitation closes at 4:00 p.m. EST, September 24, 2008. This requirement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2009 funds. NO hard copy solicitation will be provided.
