- We intend to award a sole source contract to the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, 801 Leroy Place, Socorro, New Mexico 87801-4796. White Sands Missile Range has a need to complete and publish a geologic map of the USGS Capitol Peak SE Quad as a New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources publication series as part of the National U.S. Geological Survey State Geologic Map Program. This requirement of mapping, identifying and analyzing seasonal occurance of evaporate minerals at Salt Creek, Malpais Spring and Malpais Salt Marsh will comply with the interagency White Sands Pupfish Conservation Plan. See Note 22 (any interested parties must respond by 23 September 2008 at 1500 hours MDT of this notification).
