- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Spectrolab Inc., located at 12500 Gladstone Ave., Sylmar, CA 91342-5373. for the acquisition of a one (1) each of the following: Spectrolab SX-16, SX-16 Searchlight, Gimble, Junction Box, Control Box Assembly, Power Cable, J-Box to Blkhd Cable, Internal Straight Control Cable and Coiled Control Cable Assembly. The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Spectrolab, Inc. under the authority of 41.U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Spectrolab, Inc. The NAICS Code is 334413. The Government anticipates the award on a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities, however, a determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. There is no solicitation available. Closing date is 09/22/2008. See Note 22.
