- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit on an other than full and open competition basis a requirement for ClearCube Technology hardware and services that is required in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC). The Government intends to acquire 160 each power cords, Part G0600024, 32 each power cords, part G060036A, 160 each A1410 Blade Memory 2GB Upgrade Kit, Part G0900023, and 4 days of professional installation services, part G090059. It is intended to acquire the required equipment and services in conjunction with the placement of a GSA schedule order in support of the JECC. The equipment to be acquired must be compatible with the ClearCube Technology equipment that the JECC currently employs in support of an expansion to the Joint Warfighting Center in Suffolk, VA. This procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition! pursuant to the statutory authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with ClearCube Technology or an authorized reseller for the required equipment. Only the required ClearCube equipment will meet the JECC's requirement for continuity of operations with the existing legacy ClearCube systems that are already employed at the JECC. The solicitation will be made available electronically, upon its release, at www.ebuy.gsa.gov. The solicitation will be posted as RFQ 323237. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, the Government will consider information received by 19 September 2008. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses r! eceived is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. The NAICS code is 334119 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
