- The VISN 7 Acquisition Service Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Control Management, Inc. for the purchase and installation of Siemens Direct Digital Controls (DDC) to be used extensively with the existing Siemens DDC System located at the VA Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401-5703. Control Management, Inc. was the original installer of the Siemens DDC System and is the only authorized Siemens Dealer in the local area. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 -1 only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 811310. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 (five) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
