- Description
- The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB intends to issue a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Shavlik 2665 Long Lake Rd suite 400 Roseville, MN 55113, to provide Annual Standard maintenance support to a Shavlik network security consisting of 1000 stations and 20 servers using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13.106-1(b). Using this vendor is critical to the proper integration of the existing equipment and award to any other source would result in substantial duplications of costs to the Government as well security issues. The North American Industry Classification System is 541511 and the size standard is $25 Million. Revised Numbered Notes 22: "This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 6th Contracting Squadron will consider all proposals received by 11:00am EST (Eastern Standard Time) 19 september 2008, three days after publication of this notice.
